Harvard LEAD Conference

Elevate students & staff participated in the Harvard LEAD Latina Empowerment & Development virtual conference which took place on February 4-5, 2022. The conference celebrates Latinx women’s diversity and innovation. It promotes the development of a professional network, introduces mentoring opportunities, and inspires women to reaffirm their commitment to their profession and goals. This year participants heard from STEM, healthcare & education panels. Executive Director, Gilda Gomez, shared “I felt it was a great opportunity to deepen the bond with students. We spent hours talking and sharing experiences of what being a Latina meant to each of us in all realms of our lives.”
