Elevate Beyond

We are so happy to be back in the classroom at Bronx Studio School for Writers and Artists! The first day of virtual classes began on September 21 and blended learning, a mix of in-person and virtual instruction began on October 1. Our Teacher-Mentors are teaching two cohorts, five days a week. This year we are teaching “Elevate Beyond” to our 11th and 12th grade students. Elevate Beyond is a highly engaging and interactive experience where students will uncover their personal passions and create paths to pursue those passions through the utilization of seven character qualities and six life skills. Along the way, students work with Elevate Teacher-Mentors who help them prepare for and carry out their post-high school plan, whether it involves university, community college, trade-school, the military, the workplace or entrepreneurship. At the conclusion of the course, Elevate Beyond students will have a portfolio of resources to use as they pursue the post-high school plan of their choice. Now more than ever, Elevate is dedicated to ensuring that every student has an equitable opportunity to achieve their postsecondary plans.
