Mentoring matters: eny continues to provide personalized one-on-one support

During the fall semester, Teacher Mentors completed over 40 hours of individual mentoring with students. This individualized one-on-one support time allows for deeper relationships and stronger bonds. Teacher Mentors connect with students to develop intentional plans for their future, provide social-emotional support in real-time, and set goals for success together.

Elevate classes have remained 100% in-person since the 2021-2022 school year began. Students and Teacher Mentors have completed over 100 hours of social emotional learning content. We are so proud of the perseverance that our students and Teacher Mentors have demonstrated.

Despite the recent COVID surge, Elevate has found ways to celebrate our students. We could not hold an after school post-holiday celebration, so we brought the celebration to the students. Students and staff celebrated in the classroom with snacks, games, and time to bond with each other.
