Summer 2021 Recap

This summer Elevate Teacher Mentors supported the Bronx Studio School for Writers and Artists (BSSWA) with summer school. Teacher Mentors (TMs) worked closely with BSSWA Administration to monitor each student’s progress and provide support to ensure their successful completion of the summer session. TMs also supported BSSWA staff with administrative needs and social-emotional aspects of the summer session.  

Teacher Mentors are continuously working on fostering relationships with our students and alumni. This summer our TMs reached out to all alumni that graduated between 2011 and 2021. The response from alumni was overwhelmingly positive. Alumni expressed gratitude that Elevate was still vested in the success of their future.
